Watch Ja Morant Make Waitress’ Day After Gifting Her With A $500 Tip

Despite Ja Morant getting some dumb criticism for how he’s talked on Twitter he remains one of the most likable NBA players.

Especially of the court and a waitress recently experienced why.

He blessed her with a $500 tip and it completely made her day. She didn’t know who he was at first but when she did she had a priceless reaction.

He just signed an extension with the Grizzlies for $193 million so he can afford it but it’s more about the gesture than the money.

We definitely need more of this from Ja and less of him threatening to shoot people.

Ja Morant has to be better than this.

He is one of the new faces of the league, there is no time to be a Twitter gangsta. Especially when we all know that he isn’t going to shoot anyone.

In fact, it might be for the best for him to ease up on social media period.

The Memphis Grizzlies have officially been eliminated. Despite battling hard without Ja Morant for the last half of the series, the team was unable to overcome the Golden State Warriors, falling in game 6 on the road. After the game, Warriors rookie Jonathan Kuminga took a little shot at the Grizzlies with this Tweet about whupping that trick.

Referencing the Grizzlies’ “Whoop That Trick” rally cry, which became a point of contention between the two teams after Steph Curry’s pregame comments ahead of game 5, Kuminga attempted to get the last laugh with this Tweet. Morant, who spent a lot of time on Twitter during this series, shared his response to Kuminga’s Tweet telling him to earn his stripes.

This was an amazing gesture from Ja and you never know how you can change someone’s day or life just by being kind to them.
