Kendrick Perkins is looking to help ESPN keep First Take ratings afloat as the show’s main attraction, Stephen A. Smith, is recovering from shoulder surgery. During Tuesday’s show, Kendrick Perkins made waves after saying he’d pick Steph Curry ahead of Kobe Bryant and specifically to start a franchise.
“I’m taking Curry,” said Perk. However, the hesitation in his voice just before answering could indicate that he was actually torn about the answer. Nevertheless, Perkins was dragged on social media for his take by the legion of Kobe fans.
They are two totally different players so it is hard to make a comparison, but if you have forgotten Kobe’s resume.
