Rapper Albee Al Gets Released From Prison After Beating a Second Murder Case In 8 Years

Rapper Albee Al has been released from jail after beating a second murder case in 8 years. He’s now a free man and I hope he wouldn’t mess up this time around and be sent to jail again.

Vlad has more;

After a tumultuous decade that has seen several brushes with the law and multiple stints behind bars, New Jersey rapper Albee Al is finally coming home. The “Ten Toes Down” emcee was arrested on August 23, 2019, and subsequently charged with two counts of attempted murder and numerous weapons charges for allegedly taking part in a non-fatal shooting that took place in Passaic County.

After an intense legal battle that spanned nearly three years, Al’s defense team successfully exonerated their client, clearing him of all charges. This marks the second murder case that he has beaten in less than a decade.

Upon being released from jail on Wednesday, the rapper posted footage of his homecoming on Instagram.

A former Jersey City rapper who beat a murder rap in 2014 walked out of jail after cutting a deal with prosecutors for his role in a shooting in Passaic two years ago.

He could be headed back to the joint for another 18 months, however.

Video captured a celebratory welcoming committee greeting Albert Robinson outside the Passaic County Jail in Paterson after he and co-defendant Darnell Reeves were released.

Robinson – known as “Albee Al The Gladiator” – and Reeves had been held since September 2019 following their arrests on attempted murder charges, among other offenses, in a non-fatal shooting on Wall Street in Passaic two weeks earlier.

They’d spent the past eight months in the Bergen County Jail before their attorneys negotiated plea deals that would win their freedom.

Both Robinson, 34, and Reeves, 38, pleaded guilty in a Paterson courtroom on Monday to aggravated assault.

Hours later, they were processed and released from the Passaic County Jail.
