Kanas City Pastor Carlton Funderburke has gone viral on the internet after a video of him scolding his congregation for failing to give him their hard-earned money to buy a new watch and other luxury stuff.
Man of God, why can’t you make your own money and spend on things you so much desire? You are angry because someone refused you their own money?
Vlad has more;
In a recent, on-camera soliloquy, a charismatic pastor from Kansas City boldly declared that he too should enjoy the spoils of his occupation by condemning his congregation for neglecting to give him more of their money and a new watch that he’s been asking for.
A Missouri pastor berated his ‘poor’ congregation for not honoring him with a new expensive watch he asked for a year ago while reportedly delivering a sermon about ‘taking care of God’s shepherd.’
Pastor Carlton Funderburke, of Kansas City, was caught on video calling his congregation ‘poor, broke, busted, and disgusted’ after they still hadn’t bought him an expensive Movado watch – which ranges in price from $395 to $3,295.
“See that’s how I know you’re still poor, broke, busted, and disgusted because of how you’ve been honoring me,” said the lively pastor as he paced back and forth in front of his audience. “I’m not worth your McDonald’s money? I’m not worth your Red Lobster money? I ain’t worth your St. John Knits? Y’all can’t afford it no how. I ain’t worth your Louis Vuitton? I ain’t worth your Prada? I’m not worth your Gucci?”
Pastor, no one owes you sh***! If you want money to buy whatever you need, go out there and work.
