What was Pete Davidson thinking while dating Kim Kardashian? Like, getting married to her and making babies with her? I knew that relationship wasn’t going anywhere, especially with Kanye West being Kim’s ex-husband.
According to The Things, Pete Davidson has regretted dating Kim Kardashian and won’t speak to her;
Not too long ago, Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian seemed to be going strong. But they surprised fans in August when they called off their relationship after nine months together. Though they seemed amicable at first (and rumors of a reconciliation have been swirling), Pete appears to have a new perspective on dating the reality star – and he may have some regrets.
Speaking to Hollywood Life, a source says that the comedian realizes their relationship wouldn’t have worked out in the long-term.
“While Pete was torn up when the split first happened, he has had some time now and is in a much better place with it. He sees that they were clearly not meant to be,” the insider explained. Apparently, the Saturday Night Live star felt they’re not just from “two different worlds, but more like two completely different universes.”
As for a reconciliation, the source says that the chances are slim, consider Pete and Kim aren’t even communicating. “Pete does not talk to Kim now, and they pretty much had a clean break,” they said.
When it was first reported that Pete and Kim had gone their separate ways, conflicting schedules were given as the main reason for the split. One source told E! Newsthat their work commitments “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
Still, the source emphasized the pair parted on good terms, saying they have “a lot of love and respect for each other.”
However, there’s also been speculation that Kim’s conflict with her ex-husband Kanye West also factored into her break-up with Pete. The rapper made a series of online rants against the couple. At one point, he vowed to win Kim back and encouraged his fans to berate Pete if they see him in public. Kanye went so far as to release a song, “Eazy,” in which he admits he’d like to “beat” Pete. He also made an animated music video for the song showing himself burying the comedian alive.
You weren’t the first Pete and you won’t be the last.
