Deshaun Watson doesn’t stay out of trouble! He is in fresh trouble with the cops after he was busted for overspeeding. According to the report, he was busted for going 97 MPH in a 70 MPH zone back in June.
TMZ Sports got the details;
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says it caught the star quarterback speeding in his G-Wagon in Sandusky — less than three months after the Houston Texans dealt him to the Browns in a blockbuster trade.
Police body cam footage shows an officer pulled over the 27-year-old on June 11 … and asked him if he had any clue how fast he was going.
“Like, 97?” said Watson, who also told the cop he had just been traded to the Browns.
“Yeah,” the officer responded, “I got you at 97.”
Watson said during the stop that he had been traveling into town from Detroit … and the entire interaction with the cop was cordial. After a few minutes, the QB was issued a citation and allowed to leave.
Court records show the case was closed out on July 6 — when Watson paid a $185 fine.
Deshaun is currently serving an 11-game suspension after he allegedly was sexually inappropriate with female masseuses during multiple massage therapy sessions during his time on the Texans.
Watson just got hit with another massage lawsuit.
The FOX 8 I-Team has learned yet another woman has filed a civil lawsuit against Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson claiming he pressured her into a sex act when she met him to give him a massage.
This suit was filed in Harris County District Court Thursday and relates to an encounter in December of 2020.
It is not part of the two dozen other lawsuits filed in Houston by women accusing Watson of sexual misconduct when they met him for massages.
But, this new one was filed by two other lawyers. The I-Team reached out to them for comment.
Attorney Anissah Nguyen says the accuser in the new lawsuit, “has been struggling with everything. It’s taken her some time to come forward. She’s doing it for herself and other women who have been victimized by Deshaun Watson.”
“She knows that by speaking out she is going to have to deal with the hard conversations,” Nguyen added.
She is looking for a “just and expeditious” resolution to the case.
We also contacted Rusty Hardin, the lawyer who’d represented Watson in those earlier cases. He said he was unaware of the new filing.
