Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have acquired wealth for themselves throughout their career and now that it seems their marriage won’t work again, what happens to their assets and wealth if the divorce happens?
Page Six got details of how things might turn out;
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are one of the wealthiest couples in Hollywood and the sports world, so with a potentially nasty divorce looming, there is a lot of money at stake.
Here is a look at what the NFL superstar, 45, and the supermodel, 42, contributed financially to their marriage and how much each may walk away with if they split.
Brady has a reported net worth of $250 million, according to celebritynetworth.com. However, Spotrac reports that number to be closer to $333 million after the 2022 season.
According to Spotrac, Brady began his career as a sixth-round pick in 2000 with a three-year contract worth $866,500 and a $38,500 signing bonus.
However, after he led the New England Patriots to their first Super Bowl win in 2002, his salary finally reached seven figures. His career earnings with that team ended with a grand total of $235,166,804.
Then, when Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, he landed a two-year deal that would earn him $67,795,588 over two seasons. He is reportedly set to make $30 million in 2022 alone.
In May, the star quarterback landed a blockbuster broadcasting deal with Fox Sports that is set to earn him $375 million over a span of 10 years after he retires.
According to Forbes, Brady has earned $52 million in endorsements. Some of his deals include partnerships with Under Armour, Upper Deck, Fanatics and Hertz.
Bündchen has a reported net worth that is actually higher than her husband’s. According to celebritynetworth.com, the Brazilian bombshell has a $400 million fortune that is separate from Brady’s own wealth.
Bündchen signed a record-breaking contract with Victoria’s Secret in 2000 for $25 million, per Insider. Then, according to Forbes, the stunning supermodel earned $25 million in 2009 alone from campaign deals, including Versace, True Religion jeans, Dior and Ebel watches.
Throughout her career, she earned the title of the world’s highest-paid supermodel several times. Forbes reports her total earnings from her modeling career to be $386 million.
There is a combined reported net worth of about $650 million at stake if Brady and Bündchen divorce. This includes a $26 million real estate portfolio for houses in New York, Montana and Florida. Brady reportedly shares these homes with his wife, their two children, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, and his son from a previous relationship with ex Bridget Moynahan, Jack, 15.
In fact, a lot of cash is at stake if the rumored divorce becomes a reality, especially when it’s not known if they’ve got a prenup.
