Draymond Green was caught having a laugh with LeBron during the game, and his teammates on the bench were not pleased.
It could have been a coincidence, but Andre Iguodala did the dickeating motion while Draymond chopped it up with his bestie.
It didn’t matter during the game as the Warriors clearly were the better team, even with LeBron playing at a high level.
According to Marca;
The Los Angeles Lakers open the season with more questions than answers.
IsRussell Westbrook the right point guard for this team? Will new signingPatrick Beverley fit in and lift the Lakersdefense? Will LeBron James have the breakout season we were all expecting he would have? After opening day, not a single one of these questions can be answered with optimism.
For the second straight season, the Lakersopened its season against the Golden State Warriors, and for the second time, the Warriors left that opener as the victor. Golden State routed Los Angeles 123-109 after raising the fourth championship banner of the StephenCurry era into the rafters.
Steph Curry had a standout second half performance, which led to 33 points for Golden State (despite shooting 1 for 7 in FGs at the beginning of the game). But the Warriorsproved to be a spitting image of the championship squad from last season’s title run. A balanced attack and tremendous defense were key in keeping the Lakers to shooting 25% from beyond the arc.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis were the Lakers offensive standouts, but were highly ineffective. James had 31 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists, while Russell Westbrook scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Anthony Davis scored 27 points, but never got on a roll and were largely ineffective.
It is going to be a long season for the Lakers if they can’t hit the 3, but as long as they have a healthy LeBron and Anthony Davis they will win more than they lose.
