Adam Schefter has reacted to Kirk Cousin’s shirtless celebration and this is what he said,
‘Sound the drip alarm!’
The New York Post has more;
The ESPN NFL insider paid homage to Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins before the “Monday Night Football” broadcast, going shirtless on screen with an abundance of gold chains and gaudy black glasses.
“You like that?” Schefter yelled, repeating the line made famous by Kirk Cousins when he played for Washington in 2015.
On Sunday, after the Vikings beat the Commanders, 20-17, Cousins broke out his diamond celebration chains and danced shirtless on the team plan.
Two of Schefter’s pregame co-hosts, Booger McFarland and Robert Griffin III looked on with amusement.
“Who knew Adam Schefter was hiding Chewbacca on his chest?” RGIII said, laughing. “We gotta sound the drip alarm!”
McFarland eventually asked Schefter, “Do you like that?”
Schefter answered positively, leaving McFarland to give some comforting reinforcement.
“Just making sure you like it,” McFarland said.
Adam should stick to breaking news.
Despite trailing his former team by 10 points late in the third quarter, Cousins’ Minnesota Vikings still emerged with the 20-17 victory on the road. That win helped the Vikings improve to 7-1 on the season, and the team was enjoying every bit of their latest win on the plane ride home.
Footage emerged from the in-flight celebration, and it features none other than Cousins dancing topless while wearing a ton of ice around his neck.
More footage emerged with Cousins also screaming “You Like That” while dancing with his teammates.
The celebration seemed to be a spillover from the celebrating that was taking place in the locker room after the game, as Cousins led his team with a “You Like That Chant.”
Cousins would finish the game with 22 completions on 40 attempts for 265 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.Flip to the next page for more…
