Wild times for Chiefs Kingdom.
According to reports, one of their superfans, ChiefsAholic is actually a notorious bank robber whose real name is Xavier Michael Babudar.
Here are the details of the alleged bank he tried to rob.
The Bixby, OK Police Department says they arrested a bank robbery suspect Friday morning.
Around 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 16, police responded to an armed robbery call at the Tulsa Teachers Credit Union near 131st and Memorial.
Witnesses inside the bank called BPD and gave them, a description of the suspect and what direction the suspect headed off.
Short moments later, officers arrived at the scene and set up a perimeter in a nearby neighborhood where they were able to capture the suspect.
BPD says the suspect was attempting to escape with a weapon and large amounts of cash.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
Bixby police say they will be coordinating its investigation efforts with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The suspect has yet to be identified but police confirm they are in custody.
“The quick and decisive action of the witness permitted Bixby Police Officers to respond in less than two minutes and have the suspect in custody within six minutes,” Bixby Chief of Police Todd Blish said. We are so very appreciative of the witness, the bank employees, and the officers that responded to capture this person. I am especially proud of our officers who were able to respond quickly and set up a perimeter and make the arrest.”
The streets are saying Babudar was on his way from Kansas City to Houston to watch the Chiefs play the Texans, but he never made it because he was in jail. Chiefs Kingdom was concerned for his safety when he didn’t show up in this wolf costume that he normally wears at games.
It appears it was other people’s safety that we should have been worried about. Christian Folsom of Folsom facts was the first to break the story.
