Golf influencer Paige Spiranac got issues with Deion Sanders’ move to be Colorado’s head coach and she reacted in a video she posted on her Twitter handle.
Deion Sanders is now the head coach of Colorado, and whatever opinions you got do not matter to him.
According to TPS;
Deion Sanders wasted little time making his thoughts clear when he spoke to the players of the Colorado Buffaloes shortly after his hiring as new head coach.
Sanders told players he’s “bringing my luggage with me” and if any players wanted to, they could hit the transfer portal. Harsh, but he made his intentions clear.
Paige Spiranac appreciated Coach Prime’s new rules as she spoke on her own coaching change when she was in college.
“Honestly, I love the transparency,” Spiranac said. “I was a D-I athlete. After I signed my NLI, they switched head coaches, and in that moment I should have transferred immediately.”
She also named the one issue she has with Sanders, however, and that was naming his son as the starting quarterback right off the bat.
“What I don’t love is making your son the head quarterback? Not sure about that, but what do I know,” Spiranac said.
At his introductory press conference after being named to the position, Sanders indicated his son, Shedeur, will join him in Boulder, Colorado, and suit up for the Buffaloes. Shedeur Sanders hasn’t officially entered the transfer portal, but that his transfer from Jackson State is considered a foregone conclusion.
Shedeur has thrown for 3,383 yards and 36 touchdowns while running for 174 yards and five touchdowns this season.
Unlike his father, it remains unclear if he intends to play in the Celebration Bowl on Dec. 17, which pits Jackson State against North Carolina Central.
Paige will always make sure that you have a hard time focusing on what she is actually saying in the video.
