There is a wild rumor out there on why Josh McDaniels’ wife Laura McDaniels convinced him to turn down Colts job and from the rumor, she did so because of Colt’s owner Jim Irsay’s odd behavior and unusually long bathroom break.
Laura allegedly wasn’t cool with Jim’s odd behavior and had to let her husband turn his job down.

According to Outkick’s Dan Dakich, who cites, Colts sources, McDaniels’ wife Laura made him reject an offer from team owner Jim Irsay due to some odd behavior put on display at their home in Massachusetts, inclusive of an absurdly long bathroom break.
McDaniels ended up in Las Vegas with the Raiders but his first season in charge fell short of success as he failed to get them into the playoffs. The Colts didn’t make it either.
That is quite possibly the weirdest reason someone has ever turned a job down in the history of both jobs and weirdness. And it raises many questions.
Did Laura consider the fact that Jim’s in his 60s and may have some health issues that make it so he has to spend more time in the bathroom? Or maybe he did a number two and wasn’t comfortable coming out until the stench went away?
Who knows? He could have also fallen asleep.
The biggest question here, though: Did Derek Carr visit the McDaniels’ house at some point in December?
There are only a few things that Irsay could have been doing. One is that he could have been dropping a massive load in her toilet or he could have been using his little white friend if you understand what I am trying to tell you.
Whatever the case, McDaniels and his wife decided it was best to stay in New England at that time. Eventually, McDaniels took the Raiders job where they regressed this season.
