Fans are furious and are lashing out at “Family Guy” for mocking Nipsey Hussle’s death in a 2021 episode. This is not cool if they truly mocked Hussle’s death in that episode.
If they did, then an apology should be rendered to the family, friends, fans, and loved ones of Nipsey Hussle. VladTV got more;
The animated comedy series Family Guy has often offered a comedic twist on various pop culture moments. However, the show’s jokes have also offended some, and a resurfaced episode from 2021 has many Nipsey Hussle fans upset.
In April 2021, the show aired an episode titled, “Young Parent Trap,” during its 19th season where Nipsey Hussle’s death was mocked. In the scene, the main character Peter Griffin questions his son Chris about a music festival before Chris’ response mentions Nipsey and the late 2Pac.
“Ahh, a music festival, you think The von Trapps will stick around to pick up their award this time?” Peter asked before Chris responded, “I don’t know about them, but they’re gonna have holograms of 2Pac and also Nipsey Hussle, who I’d never heard of and then was told to care immensely about.”
This clip has since gone viral and caused many fans to voice their displeasure with the show
The only people who are blasting this are people who have never watched Family Guy. They have been doing stuff like this for 20 years, so if you wasn’t offended before, not sure how you can be offended now.
We have to normalize not being so triggered by jokes. I can understand the family being triggered by anything mocking a love one, but a TV show or a comedian should so move a random person. If you don’t like the show, just don’t watch it. If you don’t like the comedian just don’t go to the show or watch their specials on Netflix.
It is real easy.
