John Wall, in a new interview, ended up throwing shades at ex-Rockets teammate Justin Patton and Patton has reacted to the shades. Wall shaded Rockets teammate Justin while in an interview on the “Run Your Race” podcast via VladTV;
John Wall got quite candid during his recent interview on the “Run Your Race” podcast where he opened up about several topics including a sour encounter with former National Player of the Year Tyler Hansbrough during a recruitment visit to UNC.
But hoops fans are also chattering about several moments during the interview where Wall throws shade at different people. One person to catch a stray during Wall’s interview was former teammate Justin Patton who Wall pointed out was part of the Rockets’ tanking mission in hopes of landing a top draft pick.
After hearing about Wall’s comments, Patton took to Twitter and wrote, “I thought we were cool @johnwall.” Many tweeted back at Patton that it’s pretty obvious that they aren’t.
