Parents can be extremely annoying during their kids’ games.
Doesn’t really matter what the sport is, parents will find a way to be very annoying and make things more difficult for the refs and coaches.
An announcer from Wisconsin is tired of it. So tired that he made an announcement during a recent game after the fans in the stand were giving the refs are hard time before they could even make a call.
The game was between Brookfield Central and Cedarburg High School and as a player was trying to shoot, the opposing team ran into him and the fans weren’t really happy with how slow the refs were taking to make a call. It was at the end of a close game so the call they would make would matter and the crowd was getting antsy.
After hearing the fans in the stands, the announcer let the fans know that they needed to shut up and that they conference is always looking for officials which any of them could sign up for.
Fans were quiet at first but then started to cheer.
Probably won’t get to many people hassling the refs from now on.
