What were people expecting LeBron James’ sons Bronny and Bryce to wear to his special night? Nike or Adidas? Well, fans were shocked to see LeBron’s sons wear Michael Jordan shoes on the night he was being crowned NBA’s all-top scorer.
As expected, fans are trolling Bronny, Bryce, and LeBron James on the internet for letting Michael Jordan’s shoes steal the moment. VladTV got more;
Last night, LeBron James etched his name in the NBA record books when he toppled the all-time scoring record once held by Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Among the celebrities in attendance for the star-studded regular season game between LeBron’s squad and the Oklahoma City Thunder were Denzel Washington, Jay-Z, Dwyane Wade, Bad Bunny, and of course, the James Family (Gloria, Savannah, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri). A camera operator stationed courtside captured footage of Bronny and his younger brother, Bryce, donning an interesting fashion choice, considering the specificity of the monumental moment. The two high school basketball phenoms weren’t wearing their Dad’s signature sneakers…they were rockin’ Jordans. Although “His Airness” retired from the NBA about four years before Bronny was born, the James boys appear to have a great deal of respect for the man who preceded their father as the best player in the world.
If LeBron stays healthy for the next two seasons, he will be on pace to surpass the 40,000 points milestone before he turns 40 years old. Meanwhile, the longer he extends his NBA career, the better chance he has to share the court with his oldest son Bronny. This is an impression that “The King” has been speaking into existence for several years now.
The impressionable image of the James boys donning Jordan 4s immediately went viral.
While you can debate if LeBron is the GOAT on the basketball court when it comes to sneakers Jordan has no rival and that is saying something since LeBron has a lifetime deal with NIKE.
