According to TPS;

The Cavinder Twins have been in the spotlight for a bit now and they have become even more popular after helping make Miami Hurricanes history.

Last month, Hanna and Haley were part of the Canes side that reached the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight for the first time in the program’s existence. Unfortunately for the school, the sisters have decided that they won’t return.

The players began their college careers at Fresno State before transferring to Miami before the start of the 2022/23 season. But they have announced that they will forego the fifth year of eligibility allowed college students as a result of the upset caused by the COVID-19 pandemic so they could pursue life after basketball.

In an announcement made via Instagram on Tuesday, the twins noted that they are keen on beginning a new chapter while thanking the University of Miami and their fans.

Haley revealed that she expected to return to the Hurricanes for a fifth season, however, she opted against it as her sister was set on leaving and she didn’t want to play without her.

“I don’t want to play basketball without Hanna,” she told ESPN. “I started with her, so at the end of the day, I want to end basketball and start our new lives together, but it was definitely difficult for me.”

As for Hanna, she claimed to have developed passions for different things during the season.

“You grow and learn as a person throughout the year,” she explained. “I’m ready to take the next chapter in my life and to explore that. We have exciting things coming, so I’m really excited for the next chapter with Haley. We were going to make it work regardless. … I just wanted Haley to feel as supported as possible, but at end of the day, I think that we’re always better together.”

The Cavinder Twins are among the top NIL earners in the country, having built a brand on social media that, coupled with basketball, has opened up a world of opportunity. It appears they’re ready to explore that world now.
