Will Levis’ reaction as he continued to fall in the first round of the NFL draft has gone viral on the socials and fans can’t stop sharing their opinions on the draft and Will’s reaction.
According to TPS;
The NFL Draft did not go as expected for Will Levis as he did not get selected by any of the teams picking in the top 10 on Thursday night (nor the top 20). And he looked a beaten man while waiting on his name to be called.
The former Penn State and Kentucky quarterback was tipped to go first overall at one point, but most people would have expected him to at least go top five. That did not turn out to be the case, with even a running back shockingly getting selected as part of the first 10 while he could only watch.
A video of a dejected Levis sitting and waiting at the draft has gone viral, garnering over half a million views on Twitter at the time of writing, with Ian Rapoport sharing the footage while also noting that he couldn’t see a spot for the QB in the first round.
Bryce Young was drafted first overall by the Carolina Panthers, while the Houston Texans shockingly picked his good friend C.J. Stroud at second and then traded to pick again at third, taking linebacker Will Anderson Jr.
Anthony Richardson was the only other QB selected in the top 10 as the Indianapolis Colts picked him at No. 4.
The Colts were linked to Levis, as were the New England Patriots, who were said to have a real interest in trading up to get him. But they’ve gone with cornerback Christian Gonzalez Instead.
What do you think about the networks repeatedly featuring a player in the green room who is dropping in the draft? According to some reports, both the NFL Network and ESPN captured over 100 reaction shots of Levi as he struggled in the background. Do you have any thoughts on how they should handle this situation?
