It has been a very wild last couple of weeks for Pelicans star Zion Williamson.
He announced that he and his girlfriend were expecting their first child and then all chaos ensued after adult actress Moriah Mills went on a several day Twitter tirade about how she was his girl, he was planning to move her to New Orleans, and how she was extremely hurt by all of this. It’s probably tough for Zion to deal with all of that but to make things worse, he is now dealing with trade rumors before the draft. According to reports from Shams Charania, the Pelicans are exploring trades to land the 2nd pick in this year’s draft with their eyes on Scoot Henderson and that trade would send Zion to Charlotte. It could also send Brandon Ingram there instead but reports are saying it’s more likely that it’s Zion.
It’s all speculation right now but with how much Zion and BI have missed since they both landed in New Orleans, it would make sense that they want to part ways with one of them to find another star so they can at least have one of their franchise guys on the floor at all times.
The draft is next Thursday so we don’t have to wait much longer to see how this plays out.
