LeBron James has got on the nerves of broke people after demolishing his $37 million Beverly Hills mansion just because the mansion isn’t the one he dreamt of when he was a kid. Yeah, I mean, he could sell this home and use the money to build his dream home, but he did what any wise rich man will do, demolish a $37 million mansion to build another. (Well, I guess I am part of the broke folks.)
Folks across social media, not surprisingly, can’t make sense of LeBron’s decision, as the home was modern and beautiful enough to be kept, but billionaire LeBron James thinks otherwise, and no one could stop him. The home is now down while we wait for the quirky thing he dreamt of as a kid.
According to TPS;
LeBron James has reportedly demolished a property he bought for $37 million, which suggests he can’t actually be considering retirement as he’d be leaving close to $100 million on the table.
According to The Sun, the Los Angeles Lakers star is breaking a Beverly Hills mansion down for the purpose of renovation.
The mansion was purchased by LBJ several years ago but he has not done much work on it apart from removing a house that was once owned by the late actress Audrey Hepburn. With certain legal issues now settled, full-scale demolition is underway as LeBron plans on turning the property into his dream home. Now that’s quite the flex.
Fans have reacted to the fact that LeBron James has made so much money, he could choose to knock down a building that costs close to $40 million simply because he doesn’t like the way it looks.
Of course, King James is one of the richest athletes in the history of sports, with a net worth of $1 billion, so he could afford to do this at least a few times. But couldn’t he have just built his dream home?
I can’t wait to see the dream home that made LeBron James take this bold and round-the-bend move. I don’t know if any home will be worth the risk, but hey, let’s give the billionaire the benefit of the doubt.
