The upcoming release of EA UFC 5 has been generating excitement among fans, with details of the game set to be unveiled in September. While the gameplay remains under wraps, one aspect that has already piqued interest is the selection of cover stars for the game.
In the tradition of the UFC franchise, the cover star often comes from the ranks of top UFC athletes. Among the potential candidates for the coveted cover spot, Israel Adesanya stands out. Having previously graced the cover of UFC 4 alongside Jorge Masvidal, Adesanya’s position as a dominant force within the sport makes him a strong contender for UFC 5’s cover. Despite having been featured on the previous cover, the franchise has a history of featuring athletes on multiple covers, as seen with Conor McGregor’s appearances on UFC 2 and UFC 3 covers. Adesanya’s success has only grown since his last cover appearance, currently holding the UFC Middleweight Champion belt.
Recent reports suggest that Alexander Volkanovski, the undisputed featherweight champion, and Valentina Shevchenko, former undisputed flyweight champion, are also set to feature as cover athletes for EA Sports UFC 5. Adesanya, on the other hand, is slated to grace the cover of the game’s deluxe version. The release date for EA Sports UFC 5 is confirmed for October 27, available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
Exciting Bonuses Await in EA Sports UFC 5
Pre-order bonuses have been revealed for gamers who choose to secure their copy of the game ahead of time. These bonuses include playable characters like former boxing world champion Mike Tyson, legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, and for the first time in a UFC licensed game, former Pride FC champion Fedor Emelianenko.
As anticipation builds for EA UFC 5’s release, fans can look forward to uncovering more details about the gameplay and the overall experience that the game will offer. With stars like Israel Adesanya, Alexander Volkanovski, and Valentina Shevchenko gracing the covers, the game is poised to capture the essence of UFC excitement and showcase the prowess of these remarkable athletes.
