Generous James Harden Returns to Houston for Good Causes After Winning $300K in China in a Matter of Seconds

James Harden, a former MVP, has caused a flurry of excitement throughout the NBA. Harden has been concentrating on what he can control despite the ongoing trade fight between him and Philadelphia 76ers President Daryl Morey.

The Sixers guard publicly referred to Daryl Morey as a liar while on a promotional tour for Adidas in China. Harden travelled to China this past week to introduce J-Harden Wines, so he also had another reason for going.

When he sold 10,000 bottles of his wine in under 14 seconds, The Beard was taken aback. Harden visited his home city for a philanthropic endeavor after producing a bag in China.

After earning six figures in China, James Harden comes back to Houston

The 10-time All-Star participated with Crazy Brother Yang, a Chinese influencer, to promote his wine line in China. Prior to the stream, Harden was used to selling just a few cases of wine from a single store in a single day.

So, in just 14 seconds, the Chinese fans bought 10,000 bottles of J-Harden Wines, overwhelming Harden. The $300,000 flash sale excited Harden enough to make him do a cartwheel.

James Harden returned to Houston to organize the sixth annual JH Town charity weekend after his successful effort in China. He spent nine seasons playing with the Houston Rockets, and each year he was an all-star.

A star-studded R&B concert marks the culmination of Harden’s charity event

The JH Town weekend took place from August 18 to August 20 and lasted three days. 500 backpacks and $50,000 worth of scholarships were given offered by Harden to students at Yates High School as part of the occasion.

Additionally, the organization fed 360,000 low-income families. The occasion included entertainment for Houston in addition to fundraising initiatives. On August 19, Harden participated in a celebrity softball game, and on August 20, a star-studded R&B concert capped off the charity weekend.

Summer Walker, Mya, Tank, Mariah the Scientist, Mario, and Lloyd were among the well-known R&B artists who performed in the “My Kinda Vibe” concert at JH Town Weekend.
