This is one of the strangest developments to a story in a long time.
A few days ago, gunshots were reported at Guaranteed Rate Field while the White Sox were playing the A’s and two women were injured. One of the women were hit in the leg and went to the hospital while the other woman was hit in the stomach but refused medical attention.
That sounds a little weird to most people because why would anyone that was just shot refuse medial attention? It turns out, there’s a reason for that.
According to ESPN’s Peggy Kusinski, the woman that refused medical attention is the person who had and fired the gun. It reportedly wasn’t found at the scene because someone else took it and fled the scene.
There’s another twist.
Someone may be wondering how does someone get a gun into a baseball stadium with all of the security, bag checks, and metal detectors and they’d have a good point. The answer is, she snuck it in by putting it in her stomach under her belly fat.
As I reported on @ESPN1000 just now… the shooting at Guaranteed Rate Field during a #WhiteSox game was indeed an accidental discharge by one of the women “grazed” by the bullet. She reportedly snuck the gun in past metal detectors hiding it in the folds of her belly fat.

There isn’t word on how the metal detectors still didn’t notice the gun but that is definitely a new way to sneak a gun into somewhere. The police are currently still investigating the mater.
