Caleb Plant slapped Jermall Charlo at the ‘Crawford vs. Spence Jr.’ fight and instead of him shutting up on the chaos, he is out there claiming that Charlo wanted to press charges following the slap. Of course, he’s got the right to press charges since it’s an assault case and that is his choice to make.
The law will definitely deal with Plant in case Charlo decides to press charges for the slap.
The buzz surrounding the big ‘Crawford vs. Spence Jr.’ fight was enhanced by a few subplots heading into July 29th, including the backstage exchange between Jermall Charlo and Caleb Plant. Their altercation went viral on the Friday before Crawford-Spence Jr. when the latter slapped the undefeated Charlo brother. After about a week of rumors and speculation about the events leading up to the scuffle, Plant took to social media with his side of the story, claiming that his beard was yanked repeatedly by Jermall in addition to being irritated with racial remarks. Plant’s revelation about the loud slap went viral as several media outlets, including ESPN, ran the clip. Amid the vitality, the supper middleweight fighter from Tennessee reportedly shared some interesting information regarding the aftermath of his altercation with Jermall, tweeting that the former WBC middleweight champion wanted to press charges with the cops.
“And then he wanted to press charges. Swear on my life I can’t make this sh*t it,” Plant tweeted.
Plant’s last two title fights were against Canelo Álavarez and David Benavidez. Meanwhile, Jermall has not graced the ring in nearly two years. With so many eyes focused on the recent tension between Plant and Jermall, fans are beginning to clamor for an officially sanctioned fight in the ring. For more news on Plant and Jermall.
Jermall Charlo should probably press charges so we see what happens to Caleb Plant for assaulting his fellow man. But I don’t Charlo will press charges since such acts are associated with these big fights.
