The Rams received bad news regarding the Cooper Kupp wide receiver. According to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter, the star suffered a “setback” in his hamstrings that may have left him sidelined for some time. Head coach Sean McVay said Kupp was “day to day” after the horrific news and injury.
According to NFL.com, the receiver suffered a muscle strain. Kupp suffered his first hamstring injury on August 1 and missed training. He returned to the field just a few days later, but of course it’s not a good sign that he’ll have to contend with another problem so close to the start of the season.

Now what for The Rams without Kupp?
Kupp provides Ram with an excellent offensive weapon and has proven to be crucial to the team`s success in the past. His 2022 campaign was cut short due to injury, he played just 9 games last fall. During that shortened season, the receiver had 812 yards and six touchdowns from 75 catches.
Kupp hit a career high of 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns in 145 receptions during the regular season. After that epic season, Kupp earned the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year honors and was named the MVP of Super Bowl LVI. Kupp has spent his entire NFL career with the Rams.
In his first six seasons in the league, he had 508 catches from 6,329 yards and 46 touchdowns.
Will he be ready for the season opener in less than two weeks? The Rams open the year against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, September 10.
