Fans were waiting for a matchup between the Diggs brothers but won’t be able to watch it at Highmark Stadium between Bills and Cowboys. Trevon Diggs , who’s the younger brother suffered an injury during Practice as he tore his ACL on Thursday.
It was going to be a memorable experience for the two of them as well as for the crowd when his brother lined up against him in a late-season playoff setting.
Bart Scott’s ill timed joke and reaction of Stefon Diggs
According to a poorly timed joke recently made by ESPN analyst and former NFL linebacker Bart Scott, the Cowboys’ misery was inevitable. Scott said on a recent episode of First Take
“This is a major blow for Dallas, and like Stephen A. (Smith) always says, just wait, something bad always happens,”
The joke wasn’t taken lightly by Stefon. Stefon quickly called out Scott on X in support of Trevon, despite his reputation on social media for cryptic tweets. Stefon tweeted on Friday ,
“Bart scott. Like what did you gain from that ? Other than looking like a (clown emoji),”

Given the close bond the Diggs brothers are known to share, Stefon’s mental distress was probably exacerbated by Trevon’s injuries. Despite its insensitivity, it’s feasible that Scott wouldn’t warrant a tweet or be recognized by Stefon if he said the same thing five years from now while thinking back on the injury.
