OJ Simpson has his favorites when it comes to Running backs and in a sit-down with Cam’ron and Ma$e, he named his favorite Running Backs who are Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook, and Christian McCaffrey.
The Running Backs who didn’t make it to Simpson’s list should up their games.
OJ Simpson sat down for an interview with Cam’ron and Ma$e on their “It Is What It Is” podcast and the former NFL player revealed his favorite running backs in the game.
OJ named off Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook, and Christian McCaffrey, and he went on to speak about Saquon specifically. He stated, “Saquon, I often tell people… you put us in the same situation, the only guys I’d be competing with are Barry Sanders, Gale Sayers, and maybe Eric Dickerson. I would certainly throw Barkley into that argument.”
Speaking more about Barkley, OJ addressed his contractual dispute and NFL teams being reluctant to sign running backs to long-term deals. He explained, “Eliminate the franchise tag for the running backs,” he implored the NFL. “You can’t make them subject to the franchise tag.
“We have the Constitution, the greatest piece of legislation ever written, but we have amendments… They got to do something to rectify this inequity.”
Everyone got their favorites in rap, NFL, NBA, soccer and y’all shouldn’t trash OJ Simpson if your favorite Running Back couldn’t appear on his list. Your favorite can never be someone’s.
