At times, football can be a stunning sport. This week, a football team went viral after switching the position of their center, who is generally one of the bigger players on the squad, to cornerback.
Although the large man was clearly not having much of an impact on one ball as a wide receiver dropped it, the cornerback nonetheless celebrated as though he had broken up the play.
On another play, he breaks in for the ball and nearly intercepts it as it hits the ground. He and his teammates continued to jubilate wildly.
This young man was given the opportunity to play cornerback because it may have been his dream. He enjoyed every minute of it.

Things would have gotten more worse if they had forced the big man to defend against offensive running plays like sweeps and reverses in addition to covering receivers and blitzing.
As sports fans, we can only hope that this was not the last time we saw this young man fulfill his fantasy of becoming a defensive back who rejoices in not almost breaking up a play and doing so.
