Three Men Are Being Sought by Police for Charges in Relation to the Death of a Patriots Fan Dale Mooney

In the upper deck of Gillette Stadium in Foxborough during New England‘s “Sunday Night Football” game against the Miami Dolphins, 53-year-old Dale Mooney of New Hampshire passed out and could not be revived.

At the time, it was said that when he passed out during a battle, he had no “traumatic” wounds. Witnesses claimed that he was attacked by a Miami Dolphins supporter and knocked out.

The lives of that fan and two other people are going to change drastically.

According to reports on Thursday, three individuals are being sought by police for charges in relation to the killing of a spectator at a New England Patriots game at Gillette Stadium. In connection with the confrontation on September 17, the department filed criminal complaints claiming assault, battery, and disorderly behavior against three individuals from Rhode Island. Police said in a statement

“The applications for complaint submitted by the Foxborough Police Department will now be scheduled for a probable-cause hearing before a clerk or assistant clerk in the Wrentham District Court in the coming weeks,”

Investigators claimed they spoke to numerous witnesses and watched numerous footage of a fight between Mooney and other players before the player passed out at the game.

The involved men’s names have not been made public.

According to authorities, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is still doing additional testing before determining the exact cause and manner of Dale Mooney’s death.

Mooney was a devoted husband, a doting father to his two boys, and a lifelong Patriots supporter, according to Mooney’s wife, who spoke to NBC10 Boston. Mooney, 53, resided in Newmarket, New Hampshire, with his family. He had been a season ticket holder for 30 years, according to the Patriots.
