Antonio Brown Seems To Use The “Godfather” Reference In A Threat To Tom Brady

Antonio Brown, a former wide receiver in the NFL, sent Tom Brady another strange message.

Brown has repeatedly criticized the renowned quarterback since his contentious departure from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers late in the 2021 campaign. He has even made light of Brady’s split from Gisele Bündchen.

Brown posted a second message for his old teammate from the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on X, which was formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday afternoon. Brown seems to want to make amends, at least for the time being:

It’s difficult to determine Brown’s genuine intentions with his message to TB12, as several fans pointed out in their responses to his post that it’s a reference to “The Godfather II”

After being cut loose by the Oakland Raiders in 2019, Brown inked a contract with the Patriots, the reigning Super Bowl winners. After one game, Brown was cut by the squad due to allegations that he had raped his former trainer.

Brady insisted that the Bucs sign Brown in the middle of the 2020 campaign, even though Bruce Arians had earlier said he wouldn’t bring the contentious wide receiver in. After leading the Bucs to victory in Super Bowl 55, Brown inked a one-year contract extension during the following offseason.
