Larsa Pippen’s boyfriend was dragged to court over his refusal to pay back a six-figure credit debt by American Express and now, reports say he has settled the bill and the lawsuit gone.
Wow! Marcus Jordan is the son of the famous and one of the richest NBA legends alive but had struggles with settling a six-figure credit debt and had to be dragged to court before settling.

Who could have helped him settle this debt, his cougar girlfriend Larsa Pippen or his rich father, Michael Jordan?

According to the outlet, Marcus stopped paying his American Express bill right around the same time he started galavanting around town with Larsa. Perhaps he was so mystified about her presence that he just forgot to pay the bill? Either way, American Express was ready to get their coins back.
American Express issued Marcus a Business Platinum card back in 2016 under his LLC. Marcus runs a business in Orlando, Florida called the Trophy Room. which is an “elevated retail boutique expression, inspired by the trophy room within the Jordan family residence.”
The card issuer said that Larsa’s man had an unpaid balance of $157,000, but he stopped paying it in 2022. AmEx ended up filing a lawsuit against Marcus in December 2022 to collect the major debt he accrued.
In the court case, Marcus agreed to pay the unpaid balance in $10,000 installments. Do you think he asked Michael Jordan for that money, or did he ask Larsa? Either way, he somehow managed to scrounge up the money each month and paid the full balance off this summer. Going from not paying your bill to suddenly dropping $10,000 a month is quite the pivot.
With the balance paid off, Amex has dismissed its case against Marcus. However, they’ll probably think twice before issuing him and his LLC another credit card.
Marcus Jordan could be that spoilt child who goes about on a spending spree without thinking about the consequences of his lavish spending. It’s time he tones down on his spending and probably takes a management seminar to better understand the world of money.
