NBA Commissioner Adam Silver On NBA Color Commentators Needing To Talk More Basketball

Former NBA player JJ Redick has one of the best podcasts out right now, The Old Man and the Three, and seeing him in this lane has been very entertaining.

He is able to get all kinds of guests and get some of the best stories and info out of them which makes for a really great podcast.

On the latest episode, he was able to get NBA commissioner Adam Silver and he was really good. They talked about all kinds of topics from NBA Twitter to changes to the Allstar game.

One of the things that really stuck out was Silver’s thoughts on the color commentary that goes on in the league right now.

It’s not the biggest indictment on the league’s color commentators but it’s definitely something. Saying they need to talk more basketball is a really bad sign.
