NFL star Michael Carter has opened up following his release from the Jets and according to him, he wasn’t surprised about the release judging from what happened behind the scenes prior to the release.
This is what Carter said;

“I think there was a lot that went on behind the scenes that led to me not being surprised.”
The Post reports that;
He acknowledged that it wasn’t too much of a surprise that he was released from the Jets, but wouldn’t say if he requested the move.
Carter, the Jets fourth-round pick in 2021, was released on Tuesday and claimed by the Cardinals off waivers on Wednesday.
“I think there is a lot that went on behind the scenes that led me to not be surprised,” Carter said Thursday about the move. “It’s just a blessing to be here and I love my teammates back in New York. Those are my brothers and they know that, so what is understood doesn’t need to be explained and they got my number.
“Those are my guys, I love them.”
When he was asked if he had asked the Jets front office to release him Carter replied: “I’d rather not answer that question.”
Michael Carter is much grateful for his new team Arizona Cardinals.
“I’m very grateful to be here. Just the chance to have a fresh start. Somewhere I feel appreciated. I feel like we all chase that and crave that.”
