It was just a matter of time until Skip Bayless and Richard Sherman clashed once more on national television.
You probably remember the tense exchange that occurred in 2013 between Sherman and Bayless on ESPN’s “First Take” program. “I’m better at life than you,” Sherman declared to Bayless, adding that the seasoned sportswriter hasn’t “accomplished anything.”
When Sherman decided to participate on Bayless’ “Undisputed” show on FS1 this past summer, after Shannon Sharpe left, it seemed like previous grudges would be forgotten.
During their time together, the two were generally getting along well, but on Tuesday’s episode of the show, tensions between them ultimately flared up once more. The debate arose from a conversation about the NFL possibly outlawing the hip-drop tackle after FSU quarterback Jordan Travis was hurt on Saturday.
Keyshawn Johnson was watching from the sidelines as Bayless became irritated when Sherman interrupted him.
“You’re not speaking from experience…stop raising your voice, Skip,” . Bayless replied to this saying
“Are you going to let me speak or not?”
The former All-Pro cornerback and Super Bowl champion said, “You cover the game, I’ve actually played the game,” in response to Bayless’s statement that he has “covered” football for longer than Sherman had lived.
YIKES: Things are not going very well between Richard Sherman and Skip Bayless….

Once more, it was well past time for the two to have another heated debate. Sherman is renowned for expressing his thoughts perfectly, and Bayless is no stranger to divisive viewpoints and strong comments (just ask Michael Crabtree).
Sherman was a player with the San Francisco 49ers from 2018 to 2020, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a brief period in 2021, and the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2017.
