The Eagles’ head of security “Big Dom” could be in trouble for getting involved in a fight during a game with the San Francisco 49ers. Reports say he is expected to be punished by the NFL for his involvement in the fight.
TPS reports that;
DiSandro, known as “Big Dom,” was at the center of a melee after stepping out in front of Niners linebacker Dre Greenlaw after he hit Philly wide receiver DeVonta Smith with a suplex out of bounds
Greenlaw was flagged for unnecessary roughness and was disqualified from the game, with Big Dom also getting his marching orders after getting swiped in the face by the irate LB. Both he and the Eagles are reportedly expected to be hit with “a significant punishment.”
“Big Dom was sent off the field, too. And that could just be the beginning. As one high-level executive with another team predicts to PFT, there will be a significant punishment imposed both on DiSandro and the Eagles by the league.”
Butterbean, I mean Big Dom needs to be banned from the sidelines for the rest of the season. His job isn’t to be a team enforcer and shouldn’t touch an opposing player. pic.twitter.com/pQMtZOlIwP

While DiSandro was kicked off the field and could attract further sanctioning, his reputation among Philly fans has gone up several levels. He was treated to a standing ovation while walking off.
DiSandro has been with the team since 1999 and should have known better not to get involved in a fight but he probably forgot he’s responsible for ensuring peace and had to jump into the fight just like the fans.
