WATCH : Arch Manning Summarized His Uncles Peyton and Eli in Three Words

Three terms best describe Texas quarterback Arch Manning’s famed uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning.

The quarterback was unexpectedly made available to the media by the Longhorns on Saturday before Monday’s College Football Playoff semifinal game against the Washington Huskies. Reporters were able to grab hold of him and took full advantage of him.

When asked about what it means to carry the family name, Arch Manning—the grandson of Archie Manning and the nephew of former NFL players Peyton and Eli Manning—answered.

While he maintained that he is just a young man attempting to make it through college, he acknowledged that there are advantages to being a Manning, such as the ability to consult his uncles anytime he needs guidance. They were humorous, too, according to him.

Quinn Ewers will be Arch’s backup on Monday, but this Saturday was all about him because it seemed like no one wanted to talk to the starter.
