NBA history is nothing new for superstar Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, and he made more history on Monday night against the Orlando Magic.
Superstar Luka Doncic assisted Jaden Hardy on a 3-pointer with 5:30 left in the first quarter of the Dallas Mavericks’ game against the Orlando Magic on Monday night, marking his 3,000th career assist.
After testing out superstars including Isiah Thomas, Chris Paul, Magic Johnson, Stephon Marbury, Trae Young, and LeBron James, Doncic became the seventh-youngest player to reach the 3,000 assist milestone.

As the only players in league history to score 10,000 points, 3,000 rebounds, and 3,000 assists before turning 25, Doncic also became a member of an elite group alongside James.
This accomplishment comes just after Doncic became the first player in league history to average a 50-point triple-double in a two-game stretch, while also scoring a career-high 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks. Jason Kidd said after Doncic’s 73-point performance ,
“I think we talked about it the other night, the Picasso. This is one of the best paintings. This will sell at a high price. Just the way that he painted the game tonight,” Â “We needed every point, every minute, and he delivered.”
