Brian Keefe, the interim coach of the Washington Wizards, is a champion with the San Antonio Spurs. The coaching staff of the Washington Wizards is changing.
Wes Unseld Jr. is being moved from the coaching staff to a front office position with the Wizards, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Brian Keefe, who began his career as the San Antonio Spurs’ video coordinator, is the team’s acting coach. Keefe was a member of the team that defeated the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals in 2006–07.
Prior to joining the Wizards in 2023, Keefe served as a coach with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, and New York Knicks.
