LeBron James is in news again. It seems that things in Los Angeles are coming to a head. Lakers lost badly again on Tuesday night, this time by a score of 138-122 to the Atlanta Hawks.
Christian Wood might have taken a passive-aggressive stab at head coach Darvin Ham on social media after finding out that Jaxson Hayes would be starting at center, while D’Angelo Russell was being viciously heckled by Hawks supporters in the stadium.
Oh, and there was also the late-night tweet from LeBron James that made everyone on social media very happy:

What is the exact meaning of this tweet? An hourglass would seem harmless enough, but James has shown throughout his career that he isn’t afraid to convey subliminal messages via websites like X.
Recall that he is currently on the East Coast, where this message was posted at about 2:30 a.m. The Lakers and Utah are now deadlocked for the final play-in berth as a result of the loss. As of 1/31, LA leads Golden State by 1.0 games and Houston by just 0.5 games.
It was clear from the outset against the Hawks that the defensive effort would be insufficient.

After the game, James gave off a sad yet slightly angry vibe in his postgame interview. It makes sense given the team’s inconsistent performance over halfway through the season.
Ham has been used as a scapegoat on almost all social media platforms. Many have questioned his coaching abilities and his lineup/rotation decisions, and many have questioned why he did certain things.
As the frustration grows, it’s difficult to predict where this franchise will go in the future.
