A.J. Brown, the top wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, has some new information prior to the team’s playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.
Brown was not present at Friday’s team practice due to his ongoing recovery from a knee injury sustained during Sunday’s regular season finale versus the New York Giants, according to Eagles reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP.

In additional promising new, quarterback Jalen Hurts (finger) and wide receiver DeVonta Smith (ankle) completely participated in Friday’s practice, according to Jeff Kerr of CBS. Thus, against Tampa, the Eagles will probably start at least half of their explosive receiving tandem.

After winning ten of their first eleven games, the Eagles lost five of their last six games. The Eagles ended 11-6 and failed to capture their second straight NFC East division crown, which instead went to the Dallas Cowboys.
Thus, for the second time in three years, the Eagles and Bucs will square off at Raymond James Stadium on Super Wild Card Weekend. Naturally, from their most recent postseason matchup, both clubs have significantly changed in appearance. A.J. Brown would be sorely missed.

In Week 3, “Monday Night Football” took place at Raymond James Stadium, where the Eagles easily defeated the Buccaneers 25-11. With 201 running yards and a touchdown on 40 carries, Philly’s ground attack was dominant, and the defense forced two turnovers in the team’s 14-point win.
