The oldest play in the book was employed by Jets coach Robert Saleh, but off the field. Again, in a sort of makeshift interrogation room.
In an effort to address a leak in his locker room prior to a Week 14 game against the Texans, Saleh delivered his best good cop routine, according to a report published by The Athletic on Wednesday. Saleh was thrown into disarray by the leak, which included a story that Zach Wilson did not want to risk his career by taking back his starting position at quarterback, as well as remarks made about it by Aaron Rodgers, according to The Athletic.

Rodgers said on Pat McAfee show,
“That’s a problem with the organization,” “We need to get to the bottom of whatever this is coming from and put a stop to it privately, because there’s no place in a winning culture … and this isn’t the only time. There’s been a bunch of other leaks.”
Two days later, Saleh called a staff meeting and requested that the leaker come forward in exchange for immunity. According to the claim, Saleh also threatened to confiscate the cell phones of his employees.
Saleh reportedly told The Athletic, “You won’t get in trouble if you come forward now.”
Wilson made a brief comeback to the starting lineup, the leak did not materialize, and the Jets concluded the season with a 3-2 record. Saleh will make a comeback in 2024, despite a difficult third season and an 18-33 lifetime record with the Jets.
