Stars Maxx Crosby of the Las Vegas Raiders and Davante Adams had a tight relationship that began after Adams moved to Las Vegas.
Davante Adams, a wide receiver, and Maxx Crosby, a defensive end, are two of the top players in the league at their respective positions for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Adams and Crosby have become friends ever since Adams was acquired from the Green Bay Packers in a trade in 2022. Each week, both players have had outstanding performances that have aided in the Raiders’ victories.
In the Raiders’ 23-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts last week, Adams caught 13 catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns, but Crosby noticed that Adams was making an attempt to keep the team in the game.
Maxx Crosby lauds Davante Adams impact
In the most recent edition of Crosby’s podcast, The Rush with Maxx Crosby, Adams was named “Dawg of the Day,” a distinction bestowed upon a player who demonstrated a strong and unwavering performance the week before.
Crosby said ,
“Davante is one of the best receivers of this generation,” “Future Hall of Famer. He does what he does. He stepped up, he made a bunch of big plays for us, and he’s our Dawg of the Day. You pick Davante often. He’s one of the bigger ‘dawgs’ in the building, to say the least. Me and him are tight-knit. Ever since he got here, one of the cooler dudes I’ve been around in the NFL; one of the better teammates I’ve had.”
Adams had been selected to six straight Pro Bowls and had been chosen to the First Team All-Pro for three seasons before to this one. Just now, Crosby received his third consecutive Pro Bowl selection.
Although there will be uncertainty around the Raiders’ offseason, one thing is for sure: Adams and Crosby will be the focal points of their offense and defense, respectively. In the whole NFL, Las Vegas boasts two of the best building blocks on both sides of the ball.
These two are not only outstanding athletes, but they also make fantastic teammates and leaders off the field. Adams and Crosby have both served as mentors to the team’s younger players and have expressed nothing but praise for one another.
Despite missing the playoffs the previous two seasons, the Raiders can always win games because to Adams and Crosby.
