After leading his Eagles to a 10-1 start and winning just one of the next six games, Jalen Hurts has left the team at the first chance. The Eagles are not in the playoffs this season.
Monday night, Hurts had a difficult game against the Bucs, throwing for 250 yards and just one touchdown in a 32-9 defeat. Reporters would grill Hurts about the loss and specifically if he wants the 42-year-old to continue as head coach during his post-game press conference. Hurts’ job security has been called into question. Jalen said ,
“I didn’t know he was going anywhere,”
"Do you want Nick [Sirianni] back?"

When asked how much he believes Sirianni can turn things around in Philadelphia, the quarterback said he believes in every member of the team. He said,
“I have a ton of confidence in everyone in this building,”. “It’s just a matter of us going out there and playing clean football. That’s been something we have not done.”
Hurts seems to want Sirianni to stay, even though he wasn’t going to express his feelings in any other way.
