Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed to Join Cowboys During NFL Free Agency

The Chiefs‘ defense against the 49ers was successful in part because of L’Jarius Sneed, who had a stellar season.

If he decides to leave the Kansas City Chiefs in search of a more lucrative contract, several teams would be interested in signing L’Jarius Sneed. In the event that the Chiefs are unable to re-sign Sneed, a new report names the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, and Las Vegas Raiders as “teams to watch” for him.

Does Sneed deserve more for his performances ?

Sneed is among the lowest-paid wide receivers in the NFL, but after a season like the one that saw him win another Super Bowl, that could soon change. Sneed, who finished the season with 78 tackles and two interceptions, is in the last year of a four-year, $3.9 million contract. This offseason, he will be free to sign with any team he wants.

L’Jarius Sneed in action

Since being drafted in 2020, Sneed has spent his whole professional career with the Chiefs. With his assistance, the Chiefs allowed just 17.3 points per game this season, which was the second-best points allowed total. Kansas City has only given up 13.7 points per game in the postseason vs some of the top offensive teams in the league.

Although the 49ers scored 22, the offense managed to score enough points to win the trophy.
