David Carr, a former NFL quarterback, is receiving backlash on X after making an offensive joke about Taylor Swift.
Swift and Travis Kelce have been dating for a few months. Swift brought home trophies from her Grammys performance.
Carr, on the other hand, believes Kelce is simply lucky and says it’s fortunate that she’s already left the country because she would have recognized her mistake in dating the Chiefs star. He said,
“I’m glad Taylor Swift is out of the country,” “Because if she sees George Kittle, she might rethink the tight end that she chose. That’s all I’m saying.”

Carr is becoming well-known for these unusual viewpoints. He advocated for the Eagles to start Marcus Mariota and bench Jalen Hurts earlier in the season.
As it happens, with a few days left until the Super Bowl start, we could be in for a lengthy week with Carr.
