Kay Adams was forced to broadcast from a hotel in New York just five days before Super Bowl LVIII, while the rest of the crew enjoyed their new set on radio row in Las Vegas.
She was virtually joined by visitors from Las Vegas, such as NFL veterans Andrew Whitworth and Taylor Lewan, president of the Las Vegas Raiders Sandra Douglass Morgan, and quarterback Will Levis of the Tennessee Titans. In addition, she had an unexpected visitor in New York.
While talking with Matt Hamilton a few minutes into the show, Adams received a knock at her hotel room door.

Dressed in an all-black sweat suit and white crew socks, she danced joyfully to the door where a delivery person was waiting.
She entered the room with her big shopping bag and tried to slide back into her desk on her socks. After an unsuccessful attempt, Adams ran back to the door and slipped toward her camera to resume the show.
She said, “And into Super Bowl week we go,” as she and Hamilton continued their conversation. “I’m having a great time in New York. Great opportunity. However, I’ll be there tonight.”
Guests from Las Vegas, such as NFL veterans Andrew Whitworth and Taylor Lewan, president of the Las Vegas Raiders Sandra Douglass Morgan, and quarterback Will Levis of the Tennessee Titans, would virtually join Adams.
