LeBron James’ injury update before the Spurs game

LeBron James was rested for the first game of the Lakers’ back-to-back series. Limited participation in the All-Star Game resulted from this circumstance as well.

It seems that the choice was made as a preventative step. He will be evaluated by the Lakers medical staff early on Friday. If his ankle pain subsides, they expect him to be ready for tonight’s game against the San Antonio Spurs.

James is anticipated to return to his typical position and playing time in the starting lineup.

James is taking care of left ankle peroneal tendinopathy. This kind of damage is predicted given his lengthy career. A career which spanned 21 seasons with a significant amount of playing time.

James has experienced an increase in health issues in recent years, which has brought attention to the physical effects of his lengthy and rigorous career.
