A wanted Denver pastor named Eli Regalado who raked in a whopping $1.3 million from his followers in a crypto scam has been spotted in Zambia teaching about God and finance.
Eli has probably found another group of people in Africa to scam them of their hard-earned money with a new money management scam.
Eli Regalado attended the five-day Glory Shift Conference in Zambia on multiple nights this week after missing a scheduled court hearing in Denver on Monday.
The pastor, who previously served time for violent car jackings, was accused of pocketing at least $1.3 million in January, which he and his spouse Kaitlyn allegedly splashed on a Range Rover, luxury handbags, home renovations, cosmetic dentistry and an au pair among other extravagances.
Regalado drew parallels between the bible and wealth in his speech to the Zambian crowd, who were nodding in agreement Wednesday evening.
He said: ‘Here’s god saying money is the answer to everything. God wants to give you money, god doesn’t want money to have you. When you trust the lord, god uses money to answer the things in your life.’
He then whipped out an ATM card and asked: ‘What is god’s ATM card.’
It is unclear if his wife Kaitlyn was in the crowd or if the couple went to Zambia together.
‘When you have an ATM card, your life changes, you have access,’ he said on Wednesday evening at the ‘Glory Shift’ conference.
‘How do you put this ATM card in and bring the blessing into real time?’ he asked the congregation.
‘You sow,’ he replied referencing the ‘Parable of the Sower.’ ‘When you sow, it will determine what happens next.’
‘It’s not necessarily how much you sow, he added. ‘Though there were times when god told me to sow greatly – but I did not get there overnight.’
‘I think the first seed that my wife and I sowed was $20-25 dollars, which isn’t a lot in the United States but it was a lot to me at the time.’
‘It then went to hundreds, to thousands, to tens of thousands, to hundreds of thousands, and now we are at hundreds of millions …’ the pastor stated.
Religion is being used to rake in millions of dollars from gullible people and despite Eli being in the news and all over the tabloids, some people in Zambia still believe he’s there for their financial breakthrough.
