NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has done incredibly well for himself as he has revealed building a massive real estate empire despite losing everything that matters to him along the way.
According to Shaq, he has made dumbass mistakes where he lost his family, and didn’t have anybody. He made these revelations while advising and warning Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce not to follow his path and make those mistakes.
“I made a lot of dumbass mistakes to where I lost my family, and I didn’t have anybody. That’s not the case for you. So, enjoy your beautiful wife, enjoy your beautiful kids and never dwell on what we had,” O’Neal told Kelce on “The Big Podcast with Shaq.”
“What we had is what we got — you got the (Super Bowl) ring, people know who you are, enjoy. Because, again, I was an idiot, and I’ve talked about it a long time. I love my whole family. I’m in a 100,000-square-foot house by myself.”
According to public records, Shaq owns nine lavish properties scattered across Nevada, Texas, Georgia, and Florida.
In that last few years alone, he purchased four different homes in McDonough, Georgia, with a combined 30 acres of land, which could indicate an intention to build a bigger estate.
He also owns a 4,600-square-foot home in Hampton, Georgia.
Most recently, months after selling his mega-mansion in Orlando, Florida, the NBA legend purchased a five-bedroom, six-bathroom estate in the Dallas suburbs that occupies more than 5,200 square feet.
In Las Vegas, Nevada, O’Neal, owns a modern, sleek estate spanning 4,800 square feet that he purchased in 2021.
Shaquille O’Neal didn’t waste all the money he made from the NBA looking at the huge investment he has made in the real estate industry.
