Shocking Remark Made by an NBA Legend About Steph Curry’s 3-Point Contest

Stephen Curry in action

Everyone in the NBA is eager to watch what happens when Steph Curry takes on Sabrina Ionescu. Isiah Thomas, the NBA Hall of Famer, has a radically different perspective as everyone else is trying to choose a winner.

In response to a question on NBA TV, Thomas predicted that Steph Curry will win. He does, however, desire Caitlin Clark to compete in the three-point shootout alongside Curry and Ionescu. Thomas said,

“Imma go with Steph, but I’m gonna say this, neither one of them are the greatest shooters,”  “Right now, that Caitlin Clark, that’s who I want to see. I want to see her in this competition. Bring Caitlin in and let her shoot against both of them. Because 22 in Iowa, she’s the real deal, that’s who should be in this competition.”

Thomas’ assertion that he doesn’t think Steph Curry is the best shooter in basketball right now is more stunning than the fact that he wants Caitlin Clark to compete in the three-point game.

Steph Curry made a shot more than ninety feet away from the tunnel just this week. Nobody in basketball history has accomplished as much as Steph Curry has and still does for Warriors. In terms of three-point shooting, he is a perfect 1 for 1, and he might not be seen again.
In any case, it’s curious to see how Caitlin Clark would fare against Steph Curry in a three-point shootout.
